Hi there, just upgraded to 2, holy moly what a speed difference.
I’d love an option to set a length or duration for auto-fades when reconforming.
I.e. If I’m doing foley or dialogue 4 frames is fine, but if I’m doing background sound effects I’d love to be able to set it to 18 or 24 or 36 frames. Really a timecode field for frame length would be ideal.

the longer that fade is, the more chance we get of a double up though… so if the film has 1sec cut out and your crossfades are 36 frames you’re gonna hear a little repeat inside it.
and 8 frame trim is common… so even 18 could open you up to doubles.
But maybe it’s OK if this is your decision to make.
Right from my perspective I’m going through all the change steps to check everything anyway, I’d rather just have to fix a handful of little repeats than manually find and lengthen every fade on an ambience that creates a blip or noticeable shift in room tone due to being so short.
Having it as a default of 4 frames but with the option to adjust would be wonderful.
Seems reasonable. I’ll add it to the list.
I also want to change the fade length.
In my case, I want to set it shorter to 2 frames.
