So this is only my second time using Matchbox. The first time worked like a charm and saved me a TON of time on 2 hour feature film that was greatly altered. I’m trying to reconform a 45 minute documentary that I mixed (formerly 30 minutes). I have tried everything and I keep getting the “Sorry can’t diff, you must have matches” dialog box. I’m using the old and new videos and an AAF of the old and new sequence. It’s not matching anything. I feel like an idiot, as I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. Frame rates on video are the same. Not sure what else to check. If it matters, I’m on a new Mac Studio M1 running Pro Tools. Thanks in advance…
That message just means that it couldn’t match anything, and the diffing pass had nothing to work with. The question is why nothing is matching. Hit us up on the “support at” email address and send any info you can.
