I’ve upgraded to v2.1 and the rest of my team is on v1. When importing matchbox sessions, they are getting error messages reading that the import has failed - that this is an older file format that is no longer supported. Any way around this without having to downgrade back to v1? Is there no cross-compatibility between versions?

Yes, sorry - We couldn’t allow compatibility between v1 and v2 - there’s just too much that is different.
Likewise the framestore files - those are a new format, so if you share video files, you’d beg overwriting each others framestores all the time.
Ah I see. Since I’m the only one on my team with the upgrade, I’ll need to downgrade for the remainder of the project. Are there instructions for how to do this?
Install the “Legacy Build” from bottom of our downloads page. This version will run under the v2 license.
I’ve found if you just want to export matches you can export them as an EDL; can do the same with diffs, as well. Is there anything I’m missing? This seems like to be a good way to retain Matchbox 2 for yourself and anyone else that has it but provide the support for quick reconforms for those that don’t.
