Embedded AAF match-back to external files: Nothing Valid Selected

Hi All! I have an AAF (Embedded media) from pix dept that I’m trying to match back to external files. I’ve loaded the AAF in the new timeline, and when I right click on any clip and select ‘Match-back to external files’ it says ‘Nothing Valid Selected’ (No valid clips are selected in the NEW timeline…). Am I doing something wrong?

Embedded AAFs are not supported in this way.
In theory you could import to Pro Tools, then in matchbox: “Import Selected From DAW”
But there are limitations (no crossfades, no overlapping edit mode)
