manual match in matchbox

Hello,

i just received a updated picture edit where shots of one scene has been zoomed/scaled/tilted so matchbox is not able match to the previous picture version. they also add some screen-vfx for a laptop in this scene. is there away to adjust the matching parameter or to manaully set matching sections?

BTW. for now i just tried to match by picture. will try with guide track as well…

Asssuming you’re in mb v2 and with the default settings for “intelligent image matching” and “advanced shot detection”

There’s a limit to what is possible matching by image alone. For shots where it missed you have the force match button (=). Scrub old and new play heads till the sync looks good and then force match. Ctrl-mouse drag.
