I recently upgraded Spanner to 3.2.0 and Spancontrol to 2.6.2. I’m Running ProTools Ultimate 2021.3.1 on a 2019 15" MacBook Pro under Mojave (10.14.6), and was able to use Spanner 3 just fine prior to upgrading. Now, Spancontrol on either of my iPad Pros doesen’t see any instances of Spanner or my host machine despite being on the same wi-fi network. The refresh button merely glows briefly when pressed, but nothing happens beyond that. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Apple happened.
They have tightened their security to an absurd level and we are currently in the process of begging for permission to use network traffic.
As soon as we can get this fixed there will be an update.
