Regarding Matching Optimization

I have a question about improving matching accuracy.
Do clip names extracted using the “Split into Source Clips” feature introduced in V2 contribute to matching precision?

If there are any settings or advice suitable for matching movies containing many static scenes or scenes with minimal change, such as animations, please let me know.

No that shot name extraction stuff is specifically for the “split into source clips” feature. I can see what you’re getting at though.

I guess you could run the Split and then use those clips to run a matchup video clips.

Animation tends to match very well as the features are well defined. Are you talking about shots with significant changes in the animation?

Most cuts work without issues, but occasionally some cuts in scenes resembling static images with no particular movement fail to match for some reason.

Additionally, timing may occasionally be off in scenes with movement at the end of a cut.
The video frame crop has been adjusted to exclude the timecode.

That said, this is something you can manually match, so it doesn’t have a major impact.

I guess you could run the Split and then use those clips to run a matchup video clips.

Yes! This feature is really handy!
