Spanner Solo Button Automation possible?

Hello dear Cargo Cult team,
We are a team of sound mixers working in commercial dubbing for film and television in Germany, and we work with the pan control in 5.0 mode every day to pan voice signals and their spatial responses in the surround field.
It all works great, but from the beginning we wondered why the solo buttons for the individual output channels of the Spanner cannot be automated. Are there technical or software-based problems? If not, it would be great if an automation option for channel soloing could be added soon. It would be very helpful for daily buisness.
We work on S6 controllers in conjunction with the latest, bug-free Pro Tools DAWs.

Very deliberate choice. We reason that nobody ever wants to Solo/Mute channels on a surround stem as part of the creative mixing process - only to investigate what is happening on certain channels. So we dont ever want those button presses to be recorded into automation and played back later.
